Nous sommes un studio de création CGI basé à Montpellier, France. Notre équipe est composée de jeunes et talentueux artistes qui ont déjà travaillé sur des productions notables dans l'industrie CGI et cinématographique.

Nous avons créé L'Horda avec la conviction que dans le paysage concurrentiel actuel, chaque entreprise peut bénéficier d'images 3D de haute qualité, que ce soit pour la publicité, le divertissement, la visualisation ou simplement l'art.

L'organisation en micro-structure de notre studio nous permet d'être flexibles et réactifs, capables de nous adapter aux différents besoins et contextes de nos clients.

SPECIALIZATION LIGHTING

The passion for color and light began at the age of 8 and it guided me through painting and photography at first, then it evolved naturally toward 3D graphics. I worked in advertising and film as a lighting specialist and made two personal short films, Omen and From. With the practice and knowledge gained through the years, I decided to co-found L'Horda driven by the desire to work closely with our clients in creation and art direction, certain to guarantee the standard of excellence required in this field.

Tom Kroos

VFX & CG Supervisor
SPECIALIZATION LIGHTING & FX

After graduating from Isart Digital Paris, I worked for 7 years in the automotive industry as a lighting specialist with brands such as Citroën, DS, Renault, Toyota and numerous concept cars. During this period, I turned to advertising (cosmetics, luxury goods) and video clips as a 3D generalist, capable of producing both realistic and abstract graphic visuals.

Axel Blin
animation

I'm a 3D animator specializing in character animation. I've worked in the field of Live Action / VFX, notably for MPC in Canada and England. I've also had the chance to work on a variety of projects, such as commercials and TV series, with a more cartoonish and stylized artistic direction.

Marine Marques
FX & CFX

I'm a 3D artist, and for the past few years I've specialized in CFX, i.e. simulation for characters or creatures.
I've had the opportunity to work in the VFX, animation and advertising industries.
I also have three fur balls that follow me everywhere!

Mandrin Gaudez
MODELLING & SCULPT SUPERVISION

Mandrin GAUDEZ, is a seasoned professional with more than 8 years of professional 3D modeling and sculpting experience. He's worked on major films like The Grinch and Sing 2 at Illumination. As well as TV shows, online and TV Commercials as well as artistic projects like collectibles.

Thomas Samazan
CREATURE & GROOM

3D artist for over 3 years specialized in the creation of realistic characters and creatures. My expertise includes Modeling/Sculpting, Grooming, Texturing and Lookdev.
I started at MPC London as a texture lookdev artist on the Prehistoric planet series, did a short assignment on The Wheel of Time series, then did a short assignment at MacGuff for the walking dead: Daryl Dixon series.
I also give 3D courses at Brassart and MOPA.

Julien Soutadé-Gastaud
RIG, PIPELINE & DEVELOPEMENT

After starting my career in sound recording, my passion for computers and design led me to 3D studios. During my formative years, I naturally turned to rig, learning the Python language in my spare time and familiarizing myself with scripting in Maya. Towards the end of my studies, I refined my programming skills and continued to create increasingly complex tools.
Right after graduating, I joined L'Horda's pipeline department, where my mission is to develop tools tailored to the needs of artists, and in parallel, I also take care of the setup part of certain projects.

Gregory Pijat
PIPELINE SUPERVISION

Leading the development of the pipeline, I design and conceptualize solutions that empower artists to enhance productivity throughout the production process. My role involves ensuring that the team’s vision is achievable while maintaining the robustness, stability, and scalability of our codebase.
